The Voigtländer APO LANTHAR 50mm F2.0 Aspherical II is a high performance manual focus standard lens optimized for the imaging
sensors of the Nikon Z mirrorless cameras. Inheriting the apochromatic optical design, the lens is highly corrected to eliminate optical
aberrations including longitudinal chromatic aberration.
In addition, it is optimized for the ultimate performance of the resolution and contrast reproducibility.
The lens constructed with 8 groups 10 elements has five abnormal partial dispers ion glasses, two out of eight elements, each with two
aspherical surface, and also floating lens elements system built in. The lens has a proud performance that will drastically change your image of
familiar standard lens "50mm F2".
The APO LANTHAR 50mm F2 Aspherical II has a unified exterior design as part of the Nikon Z mount family covering full frame lenses.
It also comes with a bayonet type metal hood that can be reverse mounted for portability. In addition, the 12 aperture blades are specially
designed to be circular not only at the maximum aperture of F2, but also at F2.8 and F5.6.
When using a camera supporting the transfer of lens data, electronic contacts on the lens allow exif data, in-body image stabilisation
(3 axes) & three types of focusing support (changing the focus point frame colour, focusing by peaking & focusing with the enlargement button)
