40mm F2.8 Asph Heliar L39 Screw Fit - Silver

The exterior of this lens is made of brass and comes in two types: silver and black paint. The mount of the black version is finished in black, as opposed to the usual silver mount *1. The focus lock button, focus lever, and infinite lever are nickel-plated.
The exterior design prevents the helicoid from being exposed on the lens outer barrel even when shooting at the minimum focus distance, making it resistant to debris such as dust.
Using an aspherical lens, it demonstrates excellent optical performance even when shooting wide open. There is little vignetting of the frame when using a rangefinder camera and handling is smooth and precise.
Includes an aluminium screw-in hood and an aluminium push-on front lens cap.
The optical design of this lens is optimised for use with full frame rangefinder-linked digital and film cameras. It can also be used with mirrorless digital cameras using a mount adaptor.
