The Fujifilm XF 16-80mm f4 R OIS WR Lens is the latest addition to the X Series. This compact 5x zoom lens covers a range of focal lengths from wide angle to mid-telephoto with a constant F4 aperture. With OIS 6.0 stops Fujifilm XF offers the highest amount of optical stabilization in any interchangeable lens allowing the users to comfortably shoot in a wide variety of situations from a night scene to outdoors.
It has a minimum shooting distance of 35 cm over the entire zoom range giving the Fujifilm XF a maximum shooting magnification of 0.25x. Weighing only 440g this lens is approximately 40% lighter than an equivalent lens for a 35mm format system. The XF 16-80mm f4 OIS WR consists of 16 lens elements including three aspherical lens elements, and one ED aspherical lens. This effectively helps to control the field curvature and spherical abbreviations giving advanced levels of sharpness across the frame.
