OM2N Chrome Body + Winder 2
The Olympus OM-2n was released in 1979 and is an upgrade to the earlier OM-2 camera which was itself an automatic version of the OM-1. As with the OM-1n that was released at the same time, the OM-2n had a redesigned advance lever and a flash ready/sufficient LED in the viewfinder, as well as automatic X-sync regardless of the position of the speed ring and the FP/X switch, when it is used with a T-series flash unit mounted on Flash Shoe 4 as well as several other upgrades. The electronic shutter provides quicker and more conveniant responsiveness providing an undeniable advantage in different photographic situations but, at the flick of a switch, the camera becomes identical to the all-mechanical OM-1 giving complete control over exposure. The OM-2 shared the compact, ergonomic design of the OM-1 making it highly intuitive to use and its backward-compatibilty with the extensive range of OM-1 accessories made it suitable for every style of photography.
