The 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD has a focal length of 18-300 mm, minimum object distance of 0.15m (WIDE)/0.99 (TELE) and a maximum aperture of 3.5-6.3. The lens is the first lens in the world for APS-C mirrorless camera with a zoom ratio of 16.6x. Zooming from wide-angle to ultra-telephoto, it covers a broad array of shooting situations, including macro shots. The design makes the objective compact and easy to take with you. In addition, the AF is very fast and accurate due to the precise and high speed VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear motor focus mechanism. Also, Tamron’s VC system provides steady shots.

At the 18 mm wide end, the lens attains an MOD (Minimum Object Distance) of 0.15m (5.9in) and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2. This makes it possible to shoot beautiful macro pictures.
