Product Description

THe Olympus OM-30was released in 1983 alongside the OM-20 as part of the expansion of Olympus' more affordable consumer range of OM cameras, following the release of the OM-10 in 1979.

The OM-30 was Olympus' first step towards autofocus, offering true auto focus only with the additional 35-70mm AF zoom lens which required 3 AAA batteries to operate.

With the other OM lenses available, correct focus was assisted with an indicator in the viewfinder.
